I’m Martin Breuss, Head of Content Strategy at Real Python, where I lead Python developer education for a community of more than a million developers.
I own what we teach across written tutorials and video courses: I set the roadmap, guide a team of instructional designers, editors, and authors, and still craft and review our highest-stakes pieces myself (lately, the fast-moving AI ones). Along the way I’ve published 30+ tutorials and 29 video courses, and I build with AI as part of how I think, write, and ship.
My background is education all the way down: teacher’s kid, lots of schooling/university, coding mentor, code reviewer, curriculum developer, bootcamp instructor, instructional designer.
I like languages, experiences, systems, and intelligence(s). I think a lot about how teaching has to change with capable AI, and what developers should really learn today.
